Stephen Hardy

Steve has been a deacon and the Church Secretary of CEBC for over 30 years. He is married to Joy and has three sons and six grandchildren.

His outside interests include History and Archaeology, a foundation Governor of a C of E primary school and a Leicester Tigers supporter.

David Harrington

David is a church deacon and the Treasurer of the church. He is married to Pat and they have two sons and a host of grandchildren.

He has also worked for UCCF and has a keen interest in music. You will see him regularly at the piano for Sunday morning services.

Christopher Baines

Chris grew up in Syston, has attended CEBC since 1968 and is now one of the church deacons. He has been a Christian since he was 13.

He has also worked in the National Health Service twice and for a local charity. He is married to Janet and has a keen interest in gardening.

Mohan Shah

Mohan has been a deacon for 20 years. He was born in Kenya, but his background is Indian and was brought up in Jainism. He became a follower of Jesus 40 years ago and is married to Annette.

He has worked for the shoe industry, the police and social services. He loves walking, meeting people from other countries and Leicester Tigers.
